Fun Run proceeds will benefit the hospital’s Rehabilitation Services Department.Distinct from many other programs, Blue Hill’s training program emphasizes changes in lifestyle habits and peer coaching.Participants are encouraged to identify and overcome common obstacles to physical fitness, including busy family lives and careers, weight issues and chronic illness. This year’s training program is similar to last year’s with two exceptions. First, Piazza plans a greater emphasis on working with a partner or small group, based on common interests and similar schedules.Piazza has established a site on Google that will include a calendar, training instructions, information about nutrition and strength conditioning, and more. There is no fee for the program and all are welcome.
