Ohio State was No. 5 in the preseason poll but jumped up one spot following the 77-31 win over Oregon State on Saturday.Jonny Miller, an AP Poll voter from WBZ NewsRadio 1030, does not have Ohio State in his top 10. He doesn’t have the Buckeyes in his top 20, either.Ohio State comes in at No. 25 in Miller’s top 25 poll.Ohio State 25th tho? pic.twitter.com/1pMYSWVJOI— Tony Gerdeman (@TonyGerdeman) September 4, 2018This…doesn’t make much sense. Miller would likely have to be punishing Ohio State for moral reasons, since Urban Meyer is suspended for three games following the school’s investigation into his handling of allegations against now-fired assistant Zach Smith. No other AP Poll voter has Ohio State ranked lower than No. 6.All @AP_Top25 Week 2 ballots. pic.twitter.com/hskYEj2JfD— RedditCFB (@RedditCFB) September 4, 2018It’s obviously fine for everyone to have their own opinions on where to rank teams inside the top 25, but placing Ohio State at No. 25 doesn’t seem justifiable. You can view the full results of the latest AP Poll here.
