For the first time since its founding in 2001, SeaDream is expanding its fleet with SeaDream Innovation, a revolutionary yacht claiming to introduce the concept of “Global Yachting.”Commencing sailing in September 2021, the ultra-luxury yacht will sail to all seven continents in its first year, visiting over 200 ports in 49 countries. Guests will explore the world’s most remote and unique destinations, including Svalbard, the Northwest Passage, Antarctica, the fjords of Norway, Japan, New Zealand, the Fiji Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.SeaDream is now accepting reservations from Club Members, guests who have previously sailed aboard SeaDream’s classic yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II. Combining innovation with elegant comfort, all spaces and facilities have been designed to elevate the guest experience at sea, including three marinas and outdoor dining.At 15,600 gross tons and measuring 155 metres, the megayacht will follow in the tradition of excellence set by its predecessors. SeaDream will offer a true yachting lifestyle, featuring anticipatory service, five-star dining, luxury accommodations, generous outdoor spaces and inspiring itineraries.The inaugural departure of SeaDream Innovation will be a 70-day Grand Voyage from London (Belfast) on 18 September 2021 to Ushuaia, Argentina.The first 17 days of the sailing will include 10 days at sea as Innovation makes a beeline for Miami, with five stops en route. From Miami, the luxury ship will track south via Cuba to Mexico, Central America, pass through the Panama Canal and explore the western coastline of South America.The final 10 days of the Grand Cruise will include a roundtrip voyage to Antarctica, with visits flagged for South Shetland Islands, Deception Island, Danco Island, Lemaire Channel and Neko Harbour.SeaDream Innovation’s Inaugural Grand VoyageSeaDream has enlisted Damen Shipyards Group to build the vessel ice class Polar Code 6 vessel. Damen has more than 90 years experience constructing adventure and megayachts, but this will be the first cruise ship contract for the Romanian shipbuilder.SVP Sales and Marketing Damen Cruise Andrea Trevisan said: “We are delighted to sign this historic contract, with which the Damen Shipyards Group enters the cruise market.
